Since February 21st, a new dataset of Herbarium Hamburgense is included in the Virtual Herbarium Germany. An important part of this herbarium is Ernst Ule’s comprehensive collection of Brazilian Plants. The scan below shows the nomenclatural type of Baccharis palustris Heering, described by the Hamburg botanists and Baccharis expert Willi Heering.

This latest addition brings the number of datasets in the Virtual Herbarium to 25, publishing more than 1.15 million specimens.
